Empathy over ego
We lead with care for one another, leaving pride at the door.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا
Wa kadhālika jaʿalnākum ummatan wasata
“And so We have made you 'believers' an ummatan wasata (an upright, balanced community)…”
— Qur'an 2:143We exist to help young Muslims in Madison build a faith that is lived in community — balanced, grounded, and sincere. Wasat is a middle ground in the best sense: not extremes, but a steady, upright center where people belong.
We lead with care for one another, leaving pride at the door.
One ummah — open to everyone, across backgrounds and walks of life.
We do this for His sake first, and let that intention shape everything.
We hold regular events paired with quieter connection-building in between — and everyone is welcome. Come as you are; there's a place for you here.
